I discovered an interest in editing after doing a few NY Times Copy Edit This! quizzes (thank you, Philip B. Corbett). Not only were they fun and challenging, but at times, downright humbling. Working through those quizzes made me want to learn more about editing and ultimately to pursue an editing certificate through Simon Fraser University.
Editing offers a path of lifelong learning and allows me to read for a living—I love it!
